NAKED steps.

I walk alone, most days.
One and twenty-thirty-forty-fifty-sixty-
seventy years living at the brink of the known universe.

If I drop my weight
I can bob on these waters for a while, and find a safer shore.

  4. This is true both literally and figuratively. May it be so for you.

  5. Dropping the weight means you need to find the reason you are holding on to it. It's all part of the journey. I wish you peace on this journey.

  6. I can imagine few more healing things than walking on a beach.

Having only just found this lovely blog, almost by accident, I didn't at first realise the loss you are dealing with, until I read an earlier entry.

You write beautifully! That is perhaps not a bad thing to do with a situation you cannot otherwise alter. I think it is also a way of honouring your son.
